Dravid S Sundaram is an experienced full-stack developer with a passion for problem-solving. With a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Management Engineering and a Minor in MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Dravid has built a solid foundation in both technical and management skills. Currently working as a Cloud Solutions Engineer at Databricks, Dravid has been hired as a Next Generation Technology Cadre to work with clients such as Verifone to build their AWS infrastructure using best practices. He has also built a custom multi-cloud management application that provides real-time updates on billing, VPC networks, virtual machine states, and other parameters based on client requirements. Dravid is proficient in DSA/Systems design and has a keen interest in system design, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and building highly available and scalable products. Prior to his current role, Dravid worked as a Technical Specialist - Platform at Microland Limited, where he designed a shell and tube heat exchanger and investigated the stage equations of a distillation column in the Atmospheric and Vacuum Distillation Unit. He also estimated the number of tubes, shell diameter, baffle spacing, and number of passes on the tube side of the heat exchanger. Dravid also worked as a Production Engineer - Internship at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, where he researched Atmospheric and Vacuum Distillation Units and calculated the overall heat transfer coefficient of a heat exchanger using KERN's method. Dravid's technical skills include Databricks, AWS, Kubernetes, Javascript, infra, NodeJS, Python, and AngularJS. He has 4.28 years of relevant experience and is keen on solving real-world problems with innovation at its core.
